Clear Aligners
Aligners are a series of clear trays that nudge teeth. They look discreet. They are not a fit for every bite.
Overview
Clear aligners are custom trays you wear most of the day and take out to eat. They are planned digitally after records. Because they are removable, they ask for discipline: hours in the mouth, not in a pocket.
Some crowded or spaced smiles respond well. Complex jaw problems, large rotations or a bite that needs more control may still need braces. Dr. Sonal will say which side you are on.
Why this may be needed
People ask for aligners when they want movement without metal on the front of the teeth. Wanting them is not the same as being suitable. The assessment decides.

Signs to discuss
Mild-to-moderate crowding or spacing is a common reason to discuss aligners. Deep bites, large skeletal discrepancies and poor wear-time are reasons they may be declined.
A dentist must examine the tooth or bite before any diagnosis.
What to expect
Examination, records, a written plan, then trays issued in sets. You return so we can check tracking. Refinements are common. Retainers follow, as with braces.
Aftercare
Wear the trays as instructed, clean them gently, and do not move to the next set early. Lost trays should be reported quickly.

Can I start from photos on my phone?
Photos help a first conversation. They are not enough to start treatment.
Are they painless?
New trays often feel tight for a day or two. That is expected movement, not a promise of zero discomfort.
